By accessing or using ScoreContent ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Description of the Service

ScoreContent provides a browser-based tool for evaluating written content across grammar, spelling, readability, SEO quality, and AI-vs-human authenticity. Additional features include voice input, a plain-text paste utility, and optional integrations with third-party platforms via Data Fuse.

The Service is provided free of charge and is currently in beta. Features, availability, and behaviour may change without notice.

Do Not Enter Sensitive or Confidential ContentImportant

THE EDITOR IS NOT A SECURE ENVIRONMENT. You should not enter, paste, or dictate content that is sensitive, confidential, legally privileged, personally identifiable, commercially valuable, or otherwise important.

This includes but is not limited to: passwords, API keys, medical records, financial data, legal documents, trade secrets, personal identification numbers, private communications, or any information you would not want to become publicly accessible.

Reasons for this caution:

• The internet is an inherently risky environment. Data in transit, browser memory, browser extensions, network intermediaries, and device-level vulnerabilities all introduce risk we cannot control.

• Third-party services may be involved. Fonts, analytics, and potential future integrations involve external network requests. We cannot guarantee that no content reaches third-party infrastructure.

• Browser extensions and malware. ScoreContent cannot protect your content from browser extensions, keyloggers, or other software running on your device.

• No encryption at rest. We do not store your writing, but data in browser memory or local storage is not encrypted at rest on your device.

We make no warranty that content entered into the editor will remain private, secure, or unaccessed by third parties. Use the editor for general, non-sensitive writing only.

No Guarantee of Accuracy

ScoreContent's scoring algorithms are provided for informational and editorial guidance only. Grammar, spelling, SEO, and AI-detection scores are estimates based on heuristics and pattern matching — they are not authoritative judgements.

Do not rely solely on ScoreContent scores for publishing decisions, legal filings, academic submissions, or any situation where accuracy is critical. Always apply your own judgement and seek professional review where appropriate.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SCORECONTENT AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE.

This includes but is not limited to: loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of confidential information, security breaches, inaccurate scoring results, or reliance on any content produced or suggested by the Service.

YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Intellectual Property

All content you enter into the editor remains your own. We claim no ownership over your writing.

The ScoreContent platform, its source code, scoring algorithms, design, and branding are the intellectual property of ScoreContent and may not be reproduced, distributed, or reverse-engineered without explicit written permission.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Attempt to circumvent, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the platform's operation. • Systematically scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service. • Introduce malicious code, bots, or automated scripts. • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation. • Submit content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.

Third-Party Services

The Service loads resources from third-party providers including Google Fonts and may include analytics services. These third parties have their own terms of service and privacy policies which apply independently.

Data Fuse integrations connect to external platforms (WordPress, Ghost, Zapier, etc.) governed by those platforms' own terms. ScoreContent is not responsible for the behaviour, availability, or data practices of any third-party service.

Service Availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at any particular time or for any particular period. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the relevant jurisdiction.
